Slightly away from my normal topics here but I did say I would write about anything I find interesting on the net. Well... I was recently set the task of trying to find
something to hang on our walls at home, something "tasteful" but not "common"! Living on such a small island (Isle of Man) with such a limted range of shops it is
difficult enough to find something tasteful, almost impossible to find something unique. Now everybody knows how good the internet is to buy electrical goods, DVD's, CD's, books
and all sorts of other techy things. What I didn't realise was how much art there is out there! After a few searches I managed to come across sites selling artwork done by local manx artists
yet not available in the shops. A more extensive search revealed art from all over the world at an affordable price and one thing is for sure, none of our neighbours have the same!
